Begin with the material and the goal
The useful starting point is a description of the material, the intended output and the problem the equipment should address. Include known viscosity, temperature requirements and batch needs. An existing machine reference can help, but it is not a substitute for the process brief.
Compare the whole configuration
Review loading, mixing, discharge, cleaning needs and connection to the next process stage. The decision should also account for site space, utilities and the responsibilities at each interface. WHITE uses these inputs to discuss the relevant equipment families and the configuration questions that remain.
Move from enquiry to a defined scope
Start a technical request with the information you have. State unknown items clearly and attach available material notes or layouts. The next discussion can then focus on suitability, required information and the basis for a technical proposal.
